As the lyrics go in a song by Emerson Lake and Palmer (one of my all time favorite rock groups, by the way), “Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends. We’re so glad you could attend, come inside, come inside.”

As promised, here is the webstore version of my beloved SENSES Gift Gallery. I’m delighted with it and hope you will be too. We’ve taken “the best of the best”--customer favorites over the years--and included them here for your perusal.

Please remember, our webstore is a work in progress! There are many more of your favorite product lines to come, and the content will be everchanging. Which means you should keep coming back! (grin)

We hope you enjoy the bits of "Did You Know?" sense-trivia, and that you'll grace us with some "Wise Words" (the quote over the snowflake on our home page, which will change on a regular basis.) And by all means let us know about any product that we missed that you'd really love to see us carry.

For those of you who are visiting us for the first time and didn't know our brick and mortar store, it was a real place…a labor of love that existed for 10 years on the NorthShore of Chicago. One that we had to close in August of this year. We are fortunate that the internet exists and that it allows us to continue to live, albeit in another form. Our goal in the store had always been to fulfill our philosophy, our raison d'etre, so to speak, which reads as follows:

It is our hope to have created a haven
In which you feel free to indulge your senses,
Leave your daily cares behind,
And enter back into the world refreshed.

The store was a celebration of the six senses: sight, sound, scent, taste, touch, and what we called the "sixth" sense, thought. Even though the web limits us a bit in fully expressing all of those senses, we've done our creative best to replicate the store's experience. And it is still our hope to accomplish our philosophy statement.

Oh, and one final important point: you have the option of shopping online, then coming by our place of business to pickup the items—already gift-boxed or wrapped for you! That way, if you need something quickly, we can accommodate you. Plus, it gives me the opportunity to see you again! We do have to limit the pick up time to 10:30-noon, Mon-Sat, and 430-630pm Mon-Fri. Just email your request to sensesgiftgallery@mac.com when you do your order, and we'll take care of you.

And do note that we will have a full selection of Pandora Jewelry, so you may set up an appointment to come in and build a new bracelet or necklace, or to add to an existing one.

Above all thank you for visiting our online store. We hope you have a pleasing experience, and if you encounter a few bumps in the road, be patient, as we continue to work out all the kinks!
